Had the blinding flash the other day that, while I love technology and it often has a major role in my life, the www.hanseisenman.com web address should really point to a blog that is more about what I do with my day: finding and developing new business ideas and opportunities.
I look for "eggs" to incubate.
I'm coining "Opp Biz Dev" (OBD) as a name for this beast just so I can do my part in contributing to the dearth of abbreviations in the world. Might change it later. That's what I love about this medium (blogging). Publishing can be done quick like a bunny.
My other blogs will still get the attention they deserve (he said), but I'm hoping I can offer something of interest here along the lines of entrepreneurial information and links to resources that I use regularly, like magazine articles, books, commentaries, and a bread-crumb trail of Internet links that can be used by anyone who wants to explore the world of American opportunity.
Comments are welcome so don't be bashful (see Comments link below each post).

Plenty of eggs to incubate on this website. I love the Mind Food. Two great articles.

More of an update on this since this post was back in '05 when I was working more on New Products than Business Development.
These days I'm specializing more the area of biz dev and using metrics to track progress in that effort. It's something I've done everywhere I have gone in my business career and in multiple industries from healthcare to the mortgage banking industry. I enjoy it because I can help owners get a better grasp on their business through the visibility they gain by applying a "console" of metrics to even some of the more minute (but impactful) areas of their business.
