Aidan turned one yesterday. Looks like one of the gifts he's getting is another tooth or two. This would also explain his crankiness. It's funny because the discomfort he gets with teething shows up in different ways sometimes. It can cause an interruption in his schedule (not napping like he usually does) or he'll go into constant motion, smacking things (like my face) with his arms while moving his legs constantly, where he is normally pretty calm.
As parents, we've finally come to conclude that if the rudimentary things are "in" (fed, changed, well-slept) and he's acting "funny", we watch to see if he has teething symptoms before we start assuming it could be anything else.
How about the rest of you parents out there? Has this been your experience too? Drop a comment our way and let us know what works for your baby during teething times.
